sWADDLE SQUARES

For the past 11 years, owner and founder, Sheryl Cooksley, has been making swaddle blankets for her grandchildren and then for each of her postpartum doula clients.

This flannel square swaddle blanket has been wrapping babies up snugly for over a decade. Once each baby grows out of swaddling, these blankets can be used in so many ways (like the really large burp cloth seen in this image). This blanket is so much more than just a swaddle!

In 2020, Sheryl became trained as a Newborn Care Specialist and learned about the hip-healthy square swaddle. Ever since then, she has been teaching new parents this method 1) because it’s gentle and hip-healthy and 2) because 99% of the parents who have been taught this method can actually DO IT (especially dads)!

Swaddle Squares continue to be handmade in small batches by grandmother and good friend, Julie, in her home in California.

These blankets have always been made with love, used with love, and passed on to the next family and baby with love.
